
Motor run capacitor series MRC are capacitors designed for continuous operation of single phase induction motors. Permanently connected to the motor coil’s terminals the capacitors are subjected to a voltage higher than the main voltage and so supply to the system the suitable reactive power needed to run correctly. Manufacturers of washing machines, dryer machines, refrigerators, pumps, air conditioning systems, can select the MRC series capacitors available in metallic casing equipped with an overpressure safety device or in simple flame retardant plastic case enclosures. Attention should be paid to the selection criteria of the AC motor run capacitors so that specified operating conditions and permissible loads such as the rated voltage, working temperature and life time of capacitors are not exceeded. Our MRC capacitor series can also be used for operation with a three phase motor on single phase connection system.

The lighthing capacitor series LCP (plastic case) and LCM (metal case) are designed to improve the power factor of discharge lamps such as sodium lamps, halogen and metal vapour lamps, high pressure mercury vapour lamps and fluorescent lamps which require magnetic ballasts and transformers for ignition and for current limitation during discharge.
The improvement of the power factor is achieved by the installation of a capacitor of adequate capacitance into the light fitting. This can be done in the classic series connection or parallel connection.
Failure to use a capacitor of adequate capacitance could result in damage to the capacitor or the light fitting due to the high temperature during service and the transient over-voltage caused by the switching on and off operation.
The RCM 1 single phase power factor correction
capacitor has been designed and developed in
accordance with the latest manufacturing technology
for the power factor correction in Low Voltage
electric plants with high Harmonic frequencies
in the system.
Built with metallized polypropylene film, if
chosen carefully according to the characteristics
of the plants, capacitors can supply a long
life in use.
Capacitors are self healing, provided with a
reliable over pressure safety device and (on
request) with discharge resistors.
The RCM 1 single phase power factor correction
capacitors are produced in accordance with IEC
– EN60831 1-2, standard of reference.

The RCM 3 three phase power factor correction
capacitor has been designed and developed for
the power factor correction in Low Voltage electric
plants where the life expectancy of a capacitor
is up to 120000 hours of service. RCM 3 is ideal
for the power factor correction of small needs,
small electricity consumers or for the realization
of automatic devices in electric systems. Capacitors
are self healing, provided with a reliable over
pressure safety device and with discharge resistors:
internal (below 7,5 KVAR) and external with
protective encosure (up to 30 KVAR).
RCM 3 capacitors are produced in accordance
with IEC – EN60831 1-2, standard of reference.
